Get Your Frosty, Fruity Drank On!
Here’s a Chilly-Chili to enjoy this summer 🌞. You know when it’s hot, they say to cool down with something spicy? This might do the trick. A frosty, ice blended 🌶 Chili Lime Mango Margarita Cocktail 🍹 Flavored with fresh mango, orange, lime and a touch of spicy hot!
This is a perfect day-drinking cocktail 😎. Just put all the ingredients into the blender and let-‘er-rip. Chili up your rim, Pour into your favorite margarita glass and chill-out! Doesn’t that sound like just what the doctor ordered? Plus, did you know that mango is considered to be a super 💪🏼 food? High in fiber and vitamins. It’s almost going to make this libation good for you. I bet you’re not getting enough mango, so here’s a start!

Choose a heavy, but a bit soft mango from the store. Not sure about mango’s? You can use some frozen mango if you prefer or, in a pinch, buy mango puree already processed. Add about 1 cup of the mango to the blender and let it go on high for about 30 seconds, until the mango is smooth.
Then, add 2 cups of ice cubes, 6 ounces of silver tequila. Add 2 ounces of simple syrup, 3 ounces of Cointreau or Grand Marnier, or Triple Sec. Zest 1 lime and juice 3 limes. You need about 2 ounces of fresh lime juice. Add 1/2 cup orange juice. Now you can decide about the heat. If you like a bit of spice, add a few drops of your favorite hot sauce. Check the sweetness and the heat and adjust if necessary. If you’d rather not have the spice, just skip the hot sauce.
The Rim
Take out 4 of your favorite margarita glasses. Rim the glasses with lime. On a small plate, add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon chili powder and the zest of two limes. With a fork, mix well. Roll glass rims in the salt. Pour to the rim, then garnish with a lime wheel and Bob’s your uncle. Cheers!

Simple Syrup: add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to a pot. Let it come to a simmer then cool. Keep in refrigerator in a sealed container up to 1 month.
