We’ll All Scream For This Creamy, Dreamy Cocktail!🍊
Here’s another trip to a childhood favorite. Who didn’t love an Orange Creamsicle Ice-Cream Bar? Something about the tart taste of orange when it’s combined with creamy ice cream that’s irresistible. Now that you’ve grown up, why not take that joy to the next level? Have an 🍊Orange Creamsicle Cocktail. Well, yes, please. Don’t mind if I do.
Here’s another cocktail that does double duty as a dessert. What better on a hot summer 🏖night than a decadent, creamy, icy, cool-down of a cocktail? If you surprise your friends with a dessert like this, they’ll be in Orange Creamsicle dream-ville. And, the coolest part about this drink is that you can make it fancy, or you can make it super casual, just based on the different ways you may serve it. Here’s how I make it.
Orange Creamsicle Cocktail Icy-Cold, Blended Bliss! 😋
In a blender filled 1/2 way with ice, add 4 shots of vodka, 4 shots of Grand Marnier or Cointreau. Add the zest and juice of 🍊🍊 2 oranges, about 8 ounces total and 3 ounces cream or half & half. Blend on high for at least 1 minute.
For a fun presentation of this Orange Creamsicle Cocktail, I like to serve these in old milk containers. Just add to the glass and serve with a fun straw. For a more elegant presentation, rim a martini or cocktail glass with orange, then roll rim in either orange color sanding sugar or granulated sugar with orange zest mixed in. Either way, you and your guests will love the whimsy and no doubt start to share stories of your last orange Creamsicle ice cream bar. This cocktail is a guaranteed good time and, it’s totally delicious too! Cheers!
