The Sweetest Kiss π
This is one DELISH dessert, martini cocktail, my friends! And, it’s awfully pretty too! I know, because I spent a considerable amount of time just gazing, lovingly at this beautiful French Kiss! What better offering for National Martini Day, June 19th!
We just bought some plump, perfectly sweet, ripe, raspberries. I was thinking of a number of different cocktails to make, but I’d never tried this one and wow, I so glad I did. I was browsing our bar for ingredients, we have a pretty good selection of liqueurs. So when I came across the creme de cacao, it seemed like a perfect fit with raspberry Chambord Liqueur. Indeed, it is a match made in heaven.
A very long time ago, I used to buy raspberry flavored ground coffee. I drank it so much, I literally couldn’t stand raspberries for years. Well, I’m back! I just hope I don’t go too far over the edge. This is definitely a one and done cocktail, but it’s well worth every last sip. Here’s how I made it!
The Set-Upππ
This drink is one that’s worth spending a bit of extra time on. If you’re considering this for dessert (and you should!) you can make it look really special. I rimmed the glass in honey and then added the miniature chocolate chips. In the bottom of each glass, add one fresh, perfectly beautiful raspberry. Then add about 1 tablespoon of Chambord Raspberry Liqueur. Let the raspberry soak up the liqueur and the chips firm onto the rims while you are getting the other ingredients ready.
The Kissπβ€
In a cocktail shaker, filled half way with ice, add Vodka, Chambord and Creme de Cacao. Add the cream and shake really vigourously for at least 30 seconds. Fill your glass and pucker up!
Happy National Martini Day, or any day you’d like a French Kiss! Cheers!
